Midlands Orthopaedics & Neurosurgery Walk In

Walk-in Clinic Guidance

Walk-in Clinics are not a good option for established patients who already have scheduled appointments or patients who are requesting a specific provider.

Occasionally some of our locations may not be adequately staffed to efficiently handle walk-ins. In that case, our front desk team can direct you to another location or schedule an appointment for you.

Same day appointments are routinely available and can be scheduled by calling 803-256-4107.

Insurance network restrictions apply to walk-in visits and scheduled appointments. Workers’ compensation visits always require authorization.

Patients who have received treatment within a year from another specialist for the same complaint may need to obtain imaging and records before our team can assist you.

Please call 803-256-4107 to discuss any of these special circumstances before arrival.

Orthopedic Walk-in Clinic versus Urgent Care

Urgent Cares are great alternatives to Emergency Rooms for routine illness and some injuries. For orthopaedic injuries, however, many urgent cares will still refer you to an orthopaedic practice for follow-up care. Skip that extra step by walking-in to any Midlands Orthopaedics & Neurosurgery location during regular business hours without an appointment to receive treatment for a sudden injury or nagging pain. Our clinics are staffed with orthopaedic specialists trained to assess and treat all musculoskeletal injuries and pain from the first visit throughout your recovery. More specialized care. Less exposure to contagious illness. Lower cost to you.

Here are a few of the many treatments we offer:

  • Fracture care
  • Sports injuries
  • Sprains and strains
  • Knee pain
  • Shoulder pain
  • Back pain
  • Hip pain
  • Steroid injections

Experienced. Accessible. Affordable.
